Full Circle Moment: From a Child to a High School Senior

There are certain photo sessions that feel like so much more then a photo shoot. They feel like a full-circle-moment-and Luke's session is exactly that!

I had the privilege of photographing him long before high school and his senior year were even on the horizon. To now to have this opportunity to stand behind the camera and photograph him as a confident young man was such a reminder of just how quickly the year go by.

For his session his family and him traveled 2 1/2 hours to have me capture his senior images. We captured images that felt authentic to who he is today. As a dedicated wrestler, strength and determination, and confidence are a big part of his story. We definitely brought those qualities into his session.

One of the highlights of his session was the beautiful navy blue suit that he brought with him. The moment that he put it on there was only one adjective came to my mind ... Dapper.

The rich navy color paired with the vintage inspired cityscape setting that we chose. The entire ensemble made his portraits have a timeless, sophisticated feel while still looking completely like him.

One of my favorite things about being a high school senior photographer.. Is I just don't look to capture eye catching images. I sometimes get to witness the journey.

Luke's senior portraits aren't simply photographs of a high school student. They are photographs of how far he has come and a glimpse of the person he is becoming.
